Scene Studies Success

Acting is a collaborative art form. This weekly class is a deep dive into the craft of on-camera scene work, focusing on building strong, believable partnerships with your fellow actors. Taught by nationally awarded talent agent and casting director Kim Pease, this class combines live sessions with partner work throughout the week to help you master the nuances of scene study.

• Script Analysis: Discover how to break down a scene, find the objective, and understand the subtext.
• Building a Relationship: Learn how to create a believable on-screen relationship with your scene partner.
• Character Development: Go beyond the words to create a rich, authentic character that comes to life.
• On-Camera Technique: Master the technical skills of on-camera performance, from finding your light to working with your scene partner.
• Giving and Receiving: Learn the art of giving and receiving, creating a dynamic and engaging performance.
How It Works:
This live, weekly class is taught by Kim Pease. You will be paired with a scene partner and will work together throughout the week to rehearse and refine your scene, which you will then perform in class for feedback.
