Speaker's BIO

Kim Pease has been in the Film and Entertainment Industry for over 35 years. During that time, she has not only had a successful career and established a reputation as an industry leader but has inspired and cultivated the careers of countless others, many of whom have also become successful industry leaders themselves, even working on Academy and Emmy Award Winning projects. She is an award-winning development coach, talent agent, casting director, and still works as a highly sought-after multi-published makeup artist when time allows. Over the years, she has cast, crewed, and worked with filmmakers in hundreds of local and national productions, and has assisted in placing literally thousands of actors in film and video productions. She has also served on many boards and committees including Women In Film Arkansas, NWA Fashion Week, Arkansas Movie Makers Organization, Fayetteville Film Fest (formerly Offshoot), Bentonville Film Festival, and other national talent organizations.

Kim began her career as a makeup artist. Her first film projects include “Steel Magnolias” with Julia Roberts, Sally Field, and Dolly Parton. More early projects featured Chevy Chase, Paul Newman, Liam Neeson, James Spader, and more. Kim has also been a Featured Makeup Artist and Guest Judge for an “America’s Next Top Model” event and worked on outtakes of the “MTV Music Awards”. She continues to work as a professional makeup artist in both film and fashion, being published and awarded many times and working with numerous Academy Award and Grammy Winning Artists. Kim has developed her own cosmetics line Gobsmack’d Cosmetics featuring a proline specifically for industry usage and offers a Makeup Artist Training and Apprenticeship Program along with her former student and Official Oscar Certificate Winning Makeup Artist, Haley Coates Beaven.

Alumni from her program and talent from her agency, FIA Worldwide Talent Agency, have been in blockbuster films with the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Ron Howard, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Shailene Woodley, Naomi Watts, Jessica Biel, Tom Hiddleston, and more. Her actors have been and continue to be spotted on Network Television shows regularly such as “The Walking Dead” and “This is Us”, as well as national, and international ads that have included brands such as Dove, Clairol, Blue Cross, Snapchat, Google, and more. Her models have walked national runways, including the LA, NY, and Dallas, Atlanta and other Fashion Weeks, shot internationally with leading designers including several Project Runway Stars and brands such as Fenty, Benefit Cosmetics, and Balenciaga, and have been featured in music videos with the likes of Kanye West, Jay Z, and in publications including Italian Vogue, Paper, Nylon, and Glamour.

Her latest passion project is the newly opened Ozark Talent Bank (the OTB) which serves as a community-based resource and training center offering support, opportunities, and development for the Film, Fashion, and Entertainment Industry. Services include Casting, Crew & Support Services, Location Scouting, Make Up Artist Team & Training/Apprenticeship Program, her Nationally Awarded Talent Development & Educational Workshops (i.e., Acting and Modeling Classes), Major Market Placement Opportunities, Portfolio Development, Headshots, Talent Representation & Management, Imaging/Branding Services, Actor Web and Reel Development, and Vocal Coaching.

Kim continues to work full-time in the industry from Northwest Arkansas with plans of national expansion and opening a LA office this year. Her ultimate goal is to continue bringing legitimate opportunities to her community, nurture industry growth with relevant information and training, and facilitate bringing the dream and vision of the filmmaker, actor, model to fruition, be it in local, regional, or international markets.
